Description
Quick answer: The Quattro FX NV is the non-vented version of the Quattro FX full face mask — for non-invasive ventilation (NIV) with a ventilator that has an active exhalation valve. Unlike a standard CPAP mask, it has no vent holes: exhalation is handled by the ventilator circuit, not the mask. It keeps the Quattro FX’s distinctive flexible spring-frame design (soft arms along the face, no rigid forehead bar, open field of view). Complete system: frame, cushion, and headgear. A prescription is required.
⚠️ Important: This is a non-vented (NV) mask for ventilator use only. It must not be used with standard CPAP or BiLevel machines. Use only as directed by your clinician, with a ventilator that has an active exhalation valve.
What’s included
- 1 × Quattro FX NV frame (flexible spring-frame)
- 1 × cushion (in your selected size)
- 1 × headgear
Prescription required. For use with an active-exhaust-valve ventilator only.
About this mask
The Quattro FX NV combines two things: the comfort-focused Quattro FX design and a non-vented configuration for ventilation.
The design: instead of a rigid forehead support, soft flexible frame arms curve along the sides of the face, distributing tension gently and leaving the field of view clear — so the mask feels lighter and less bulky than a traditional full face mask. The dual-wall Spring Air™ cushion self-adjusts to hold the seal as the patient moves.
The non-vented part: a standard CPAP mask has vent holes that continuously release exhaled air. This mask has none — because in an NIV setup, exhalation is managed by the ventilator’s active exhalation valve instead. That’s why it must only ever be paired with a ventilator designed for a non-vented mask, never a CPAP.

Is it compatible with my equipment?

Frequently asked questions
What does “non-vented” mean?
The mask has no exhalation vent holes — exhaled air is managed by the ventilator’s active exhalation valve instead. This is why it’s used only with active-exhaust ventilators.
Can I use it with my CPAP machine?
No. Non-vented masks must not be used with standard CPAP or BiLevel devices. They are for active-exhaust-valve ventilators only, as directed by a clinician.
How is it different from the standard Quattro FX?
Same comfort-focused flexible-frame design, but non-vented — the standard Quattro FX is vented and for CPAP/BiLevel; this one is for ventilation only.
What’s included?
The complete system — frame, cushion, and headgear.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes — a prescription is required in the U.S.
Can I get it delivered in Brooklyn or shipped nationwide?
Yes — Stark Medical Supplies offers local pickup and delivery in Brooklyn and across NYC, plus USPS shipping throughout the continental U.S.
