Description

Quick answer: This is the non-magnetic version of the ResMed AirFit F20 full face CPAP mask — the same widely-used mask with its plush InfinitySeal™ cushion, but with headgear clips that attach without magnets. It’s a complete system: non-magnetic frame, cushion, and headgear. The non-magnetic version is the correct choice for people who must avoid magnets — for example those with certain metallic or electronic medical implants. Available in sizes. A prescription is required.

⚠️ Non-magnetic version: This mask uses non-magnetic headgear clips, for people for whom magnets are contraindicated. If you don’t need to avoid magnets, the standard magnetic AirFit F20 is the other option.

What’s included

  • 1 × AirFit F20 non-magnetic frame (with elbow)
  • 1 × InfinitySeal™ cushion (in your selected size)
  • 1 × SoftEdge™ headgear (with non-magnetic clips)

You’ll need your own CPAP machine and tubing. Prescription required.

About this mask

The AirFit F20 is one of the most widely used full face masks, thanks to its InfinitySeal™ cushion — designed to adapt to a wide range of facial contours and seal across therapy pressures, so it fits many people in just a few sizes. Paired with SoftEdge™ fabric headgear (rolled-edge straps that reduce facial marks), it’s built for comfortable long-term wear. Full face coverage suits people who breathe through their mouth during sleep or often have nasal congestion.

This is the non-magnetic version. The standard F20 uses magnetic clips that snap to the frame; this version uses non-magnetic clips instead — because magnets are contraindicated for some people, including those with certain metallic implants (e.g. aneurysm clips), metallic eye fragments, or electronic implanted devices. The non-magnetic F20 gives those users the same mask and the same InfinitySeal comfort, without magnets in the design.

It’s a complete system, ready to use with a compatible machine, and its cushion and headgear are replaceable as they wear (using the non-magnetic clips, 63335). The InfinitySeal cushions are the same as the standard F20.

Important: who the non-magnetic version is for

Use the non-magnetic AirFit F20 if magnets are contraindicated for you or anyone in close contact with your mask — for example:

  • a metallic implant such as an aneurysm clip,
  • metallic fragments in the eye,
  • certain electronic implanted devices (follow your device manufacturer’s and physician’s guidance).

Follow the magnet contraindications in the mask’s user guide, and consult your physician if you’re unsure whether magnets are a concern for you.

  • SoftEdge™ fabric headgear — rolled-edge straps; gentle on skin.

whats the diff between airtfit F20 and the airfit F10 full face mask? will either fit any ResMed machine

Hi Teresa, great question! Both are ResMed full face masks (covering the nose and mouth), but there are a few key differences:

Cushion & seal: The AirFit F10 uses ResMed\\\'s older dual-wall SpringAir cushion. The AirFit F20 uses the newer InfinitySeal silicone cushion, which adapts to more face shapes and holds its seal better at higher pressures — that\\\'s why the F20 is ResMed\\\'s most popular full face mask.

Sizing: The F10 comes in Small and Medium only. The F20 comes in Small, Medium, and Large, and the cushions are interchangeable on the same frame.

Headgear attachment: The F10 uses fabric hooks; the F20 uses magnetic clips for quick on/off — and it also comes in a Non-Magnetic version (standard clips) for anyone who needs to avoid magnets.

Machine compatibility: This is important for your second question. The F20 works with all ResMed machines, including the AirMini travel CPAP. The F10 works with most ResMed machines but NOT the AirMini. Both use a standard connection and also work with CPAP/BiPAP machines from other manufacturers.

One more note: the F10 is now a legacy/discontinued model, so most users choose the F20 today. If you\\\'d like help picking a size or version, just ask or call us at (646) 933-0080 - happy to help!
