Why the heated tube matters: with the ClimateLineAir 11 and Climate Control, the machine holds air at a comfortable humidity (around 85% RH) and keeps the tube at a steady temperature (default ~80°F/27°C, adjustable ~60–86°F / 16–30°C). By keeping the air warm all the way to the mask, it prevents rainout — the condensation that collects in the hose and mask when warm, humid air cools in a cooler bedroom. If you’ve had water in your tube, gurgling, or dryness, the heated tube is the fix.
