About this part
The AirFit F30i / X30i frame is the tube-up core of the mask: a soft, flexible frame that connects the tube at the top of the head and directs airflow through two hollow silicone side-tubes down to the cushion. Because the frame is soft, it adapts to the contours of the face without pinching, and the top-of-head connection keeps the hose up and out of the way — so you can sleep on your side, back, or stomach with a stable seal and a clear field of view (easy for glasses, reading, or TV). It uses magnetic clips and a quick-release elbow for easy on/off.
One frame, two masks: this frame is shared between the AirFit F30i (full face) and the AirFit X30i (oral-nasal) masks. It’s compatible with both F30i full face cushions and X30i oral-nasal cushions — so the cushion you fit determines which mask you have. Any F30i/X30i frame works with any matching F30i/X30i cushion.
Frames are wear parts — handled daily, they can crack, loosen, or lose shape over time, and a damaged frame won’t support the cushion or hold a seal. Replacing just the frame (when your cushion and headgear are still good) is far cheaper than a complete new mask.
